Both of these Pings I've had for a long time. They survived the Ping genocide I had awhile ago.
This first one something happened with the tag. It's certainly not a P. cyclosecta. At the time I had: P. jaumavensis, P. esseriana, and I think P. Yucca Do 1713.
Unfortunately it's yet to flower...
Haven't kept this ping yet, so this is my first flower. The second plants flower is about to bloom in the back. And if you look carefully, you can see the leaf pulling I am rooting laying on the sphagnum. Ole!
I searched and searched and searched but all I could find was this succulent looking thing with all these odd pink flowers :-O
P. esseriana this Winter in full bloom. Last Fall ALL of these guys were tucked into ONE of the pots you see pictured!

I've got a question about P. esseriana. In all the pictures I've seen of it, there's always multiple ones in a pot. How does it spread so fast? Does it produce plantlets like P. primuiflora or something?
