This will be a thread mostly consisting of my carnivorous plants, but also some other random plant photos from time to time.
To start, these are some pictures of the plants that I grow indoors in my basement. I don't have any current photos of plants that I have outside on the deck. Since I...

Howdy. It's been awhile since I posted. Here is my current growing area:
Have Cephalotus, Drosera aliciae, Drosera spatulata, Pinguicula caerulea, and some form of terrestrial Utricularia all growing in a 6'' pot filled with pure sphagnum moss. A few weeks ago I made some leaf cuttings of...
Hey all! It's been a while...long story short, I'm moving to a new place here in Gainesville that has some outdoor space and I'm thinking of downsizing my collection (pretty much exclusively Drosera now) to those that can do well outside year round.
9a indicates winters that can get down to...
I can't seem to catch Drosera slackii on the vendors available lists. Been looking for this one for awhile. I have mature Drosera capensis x spatulata to offer or Drosera hamiltonii or Drosera aliciae or something of the like.
I like to support vendors and keep the hobby alive commercially...
I've had a couple "shots in the arm" with pygmy sundew gemmae and other assorted things, but what was once a thriving collection of butterworts is down to just a few. I am also missing a few basic sundews, like D. adelae, anglica, and aliciae. Here's my current grow list. Those with asterisks I...
I'd like to start growing some Pinguicula lusitanica. Right now I have seeds of white-flowering Drosera capillaris (Alabama), Drosera capensis, and Drosera aliciae. I also have some Drosera intermedia 'Cuba' plants to trade, and can take cuttings from most of my other plants (see growlist)...
I'v purchased a young cephalotus about 5 months ago from a well trusted shop iv been buying from for about 2-3 years.
When I got it home I immediately re-planted it into a mixture of 1/3 peat, 1/3 perlite and 1/3 silica quartz where it's been ever since.
For the 1st three months it was doing...
Once I was in a store and there was a corner in which some really strange plants were standing.
They shall eat meat or something like that and they are probably dangerous. No risc no fun. I took one of the glistening with the sticky leaves.
About 10 years later ......

Hey all,
Been growing some Drosera from seed this winter/spring. Pictures below are not the greatest but they work. I took some of them from my 8-10 yr. old Nikon Coolpix 8700 and the magnified ones through my 10x loupe using my iPhone.

Also these guys were growing in the pot along with it – any thoughts?
Thanks!
Axelrod's CPs
Ok new thread, and I'm going to try to confine my questions and stuff to here now that I feel like I might be starting to get the hang of things...a little.
Previous threads:

So I'm working on expanding my collection of CPs. I actually have quite a few questions I guess so try to bare with me. My thread for my first two CPs can be found here.
The D. Capensis and the Nep both seem to be doing ok although I do have a question about each.
The Capensis first, it...
