they fish for them as a sport fish just like you fish for barracuda or shark or sturgeon

I thought that it may be fake too. To me it almost looked like a crocodile snout photoshopped on a fish.

But looking at the other pics I guess it's real.

dang..................got the species wrong but nailed the genus...............yeah they are real fish........i know of several ppl who have gone over to Africa hunting that took a day to fish for those guys

what do they use as bait? chickens?! that is....scary. i wouldnt be caught dead (or maybe i would) anywhere near this fish. has it caused fatalities ever?
