Some sort of Stapelia, looks like Stapelia gigantea. Nice find.

i know im super excited about it. thought it was gunna die for sure and now its doing great. i think i see a really small flower bud on it too. cant wait to see

I have one of those and when it blooms it smells like rotten meat (really), I am pretty sure that I read somewhere that they are pollenated by flies. They are really easy to start too.
