In my unknown Sarracenia pot - pods are about 1/8th of inch long. Sporophytes for some moss perhaps? Should I get rid of 'em?

Yup, just moss things. All they do is make spores, so get rid of them if you want; it's not really an issue if you don't.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers!! LOL, just kidding. As Ben says, they are moss spore cases. Beware cuz you will have more moss if you let them open!

Yeah, I guess I'll clip 'em. After my experience with the carpet moss choking my 'Dixie Lace' I've been weeding out most of the stuff I find in my pots.

I wonder what kind of moss it is. What happened to Terrestrial Man? Weren't mosses an interest of his?
