Tuberous Drosera seedling?

That lil guy appeared in my D. pulchella pot some time ago. And only now did I realize that it's growing some sort of red colored thing out of it.

Which now leads me to believe that it's a tuberous Drosera. Butttt, it's sooo small. So why would it begin to climb when it's that small?

Could it be that because it is so crowded out, it is stunted?

Anyways, how would I go about safely removing it?

You sure it's not a Drosera binata? When they are very young the leaves can look like that and when they start forming the forked leaves the buds look sort of like that stalk.

If it is a tuberous Drosera they don't like root disturbance and it's best to transplant when they are tubers.

Looks like binata to me as well. The leaf at 6 o'clock even looks like it has the vague fork shape to it....
