all you have to do to see if its a word or not is pop it into google..
its a word.
 
I believe checking if a word exists is OK, checking and seeing the definition is NOT ok.

As for xenial, I'd guess relating to the heavens.

EDIT: after guessing I checked the real meaning...close but no cigar!

Oh well, I might as well tell you.

xenial refers to giving gifts to strangers.
for example, you are being xenial if you give a present to a homeless person you dont know.

schism is when a group, organazation, gang or country split in two.
Some people side with the original leader, while the ones that oppose the original leader elect their own leader and oppose the original leader.

Ahem, NO latin words permitted.

fusiform: perhaps united as one (fused together)

Paleo: is rock or pertaining to the earth.

Psuedo: means lesser or reduced.

And Onomatopoeia are words that say their name like Pow, Bang or Wham.

Latin's a dead language. no one knows it.
which is good in a way, 'cause that means you can't mispronounce a Latin word. so if anyone gives you grief over your pronounciation of a latin word, you can tell 'em where to go.
