Terrarium Stuff

SubRosa

BS Bulldozer
This post is a testament to my technological ignorance. Attaching a photo to a pm is beyond me, so I post these for jcal's perusal. Clockwise from upper left: first two pics are Masdevallia 'Fuschia Dawn Rolf', unidentified Tillandsia, Ornithophora radicans. Although potted in the pics I will send any of these bare root in sphag.

A little more, a bromeliad Cryptanthus 'Pink Starlite'. Pic shows 2 pups from the same mother. It demonstrates the variability of the color in this plant depending upon lighting. They're both grown about 6" away from a 2 bulb T5HO fixture. The one you want gets unobstructed light. The one I'm offering is shaded by another Bromeliad. I have played with these a lot, and given identical conditions they all get the bright pink:

As some of you know I suffered a "cat"astrophe when one of my cats discovered it likes the taste of Dendrobium subuliferum and ate all but 1 of the 20+ seedlings I had. That one's a keeper! But add these to the availability list. Upper left, large Cryptanthus 'Black Mystic', upper right, Tubecentron 'Hysing Girl', miniature orchid previously bloomed, middle left, small division Pleurothallis grobyii, middle right, mounted Bulbophyllum baileyii, lower left mounted Myrmecodia tuberosa:

Update pic of the Cryptanthus 'Pink Starlite'. Two weeks ago I moved the plant that was shading it Also if you look to the lower left of the pinker Cryptanthus you can see a small piece of an unidentified Dischidia species, similar to D. pectinoides in growth habit. Added to the list:
