2011 the year the crabs returned to the trees...

There are about 4 Geosesarma sp. "Red" Sulawesi Jungle Crabs living on just this one branch and in this one densely leaved miniature tree. The total number of crabs in this 10 gallon vertical tank is probably over two dozen and I saw a new crop of fruit fly sized babies there the other day as well not sure if the older siblings will eat them or leave them alone... I started with just one pair in this tank last summer sometime!

This little guy (only 1/4 inch long!) was sitting on a Hibiscus leaf a year or 2 ago. He even stayed still for the photos!

A close up of an Amorphophallus Konjac flower. The white band is male part and the band below it the female. Very pretty flower but the stink is horrid!
