Smallest basal ever.

I was repotting some of my Nepenthes seedlings today when I found this basal on an 8 month old inermis seedling.

HA HA cool. So it is possible small SG plants can grow basals, my first N. rajah was supposedly SG and that thing threw off basals like nobodys business - I cut off & rooted 8 different basals in the first couple years. I just assumed the vendor screwed up and sent me a clone due to the number of basals I was getting.

Nice! I think you're doing something that it likes.

Yup. I moved everything into a new highland tent just after x-mas with nearly perfect conditions (could use a bit more humidity). I can't believe how fast everything kicked into gear. Plants that have been chugging along for the last year just EXPLODED with new growth ..........and tiny basals apparently too.
