Limeslide, I think your magnolia is an oleander and the unknown is a Caesalpinia species

Here are some of mine:

'Vulcan' magnolia, first time blooming

'Atlas' magnolia. Each of these is about a foot across

'Pink Cloud' cherry

Not a tree, but big enough to be one:

'Black Dragon' wisteria

All of these except for the wisteria are done for the year now.

You guys live in the "no fair" states
We're still dealing with the spring floods after all the snow melted. I can drive to Savage next week when they reopen the roads if there's no rain before then. I did see some green grass today though! LOL
