NASC Auction will open in...

Read the rules first :)
NASC auction is OPEN!!

Show me your awesome filiformis pictures!!!

And I will show you mine. :pics:
(I couldn't help myself.)

Anyways...
I love D. filiformis. It has to be my favorite sundew. I was hoping that there are others that share this love and will post there pictures so I can stare at them instead of doing productive things. They do not have to be great pictures either! Post em!

Go! Go! Go!

Ok now where are your pics?!?!

A very nice thread. I have found this species to be tricky to get a good photo of but you guys have inspired me. I'll post if you post, Heather. :)

@Kulamauiman: I really like that triple split leaf. Any explanation for why it has grown that way?

Oops!! Sorry everyone! It keeps raining. I will seriously try to get good shots of them Tuesday.

But to hold you over until then here is a picture of my very first filiformis (from the lovely DJ!!) when I got him and before I putted him up. I call him Phil. It was so little and cute.

No idea. Was a few weeks after the nuculear disaster in Japan.

Awesome flower shot!
Mach that is really weird...:0o:

I was able to get a few okay pictures today. The rain keeps washing all the dew off so they look sad. I am hoping to get pictures of the babies soon.

This is a shot of the one I posted above as of today! Phil has grown!

Have a tracyi as well but it only has two sticky branches now. The filiformis above are in a terrarium. They don't seem to do nearly as well outside despite being sub-tropical/tropical plants.

Got the little leaf cuttings transplanted on Sunday in peat and silica sand, they're already showing more growth. I just used a spoon to scoop them up with the peat around them so I wouldn't disturb the roots.

Love this first pic! You can still see the remains of that crazy white fuzz ball of a hibernacula that the all reds get. Nice plants everybody! :)

Thanks, Shortbus. I actually managed to make that all red go dormant In the terrarium somehow. A few of the larger crowns formed that fuzziness. I didnt realize that was the hibernacula.

Here's my pot of filiformis last year. This year i divided the clump and spread a bunch of seed so i can have a REALLY big clump :D

Can't compete with Gigantea's All Red, absolutely awesome, but here is another one of mine I thought was kinda cool (at least until I saw Gigantea's All Red anyway, lol). Actually, I am really loving all the filiformis pics in this thread.
