Shipping pings

I would like to ship a baby ping titan to a pal accros the country.
Never having shipped a live plant before I'm looking for advice.
The ping is about a half inch high or so, only recently transplanted into it's pot from the propagation tray. It does have a few roots.
Would it have been better to ship bare root, or can I ship it potted? (but how?)
Thanks for any and all comments.

Hi there I like to ship plants bare root in sphagnum moss and moist then, works perfect.

Rocketcaver -

I have received pings in every way imaginable. Some mixed in with dirt, some in sphagnum moss, and some just in a plastic bag. All turned out just fine. They are very hardy plants.

I would wrap it in a small piece of paper towel and put into a small crafts bag.
