I was curious if when i put my Sarr's outside if the porch light during the night will mess with them? My back porch light is photo-cell controlled and I need to know if I need to keep it far enough away to keep light off at night or if it doesnt affect it?

It's fine. If anything, it could draw moths and other insects and benefit them!

compared to the sun, the plant will think its in complete darkness..
(our eyes adjust to light..making less light seem "more")
when in reality, the porch light is probably about 1/1,000 the intensity of the sun..

the plant wont even know its on.
