Just wait a year or so. It's a wild collected plant that has an orangish yellow flower.

...and I thought the lidless Sarracenia were horrible. That is hands down the saddest, ugliest purp I've ever seen. I would have have culled that in a hot second from my seedlings. Some idiot will probably buy it too !

Complex crossing between lidless Sarracenia and 'normal' S. purpurea results in Heliamphora look-alike?

Purpa smurf gets a thumbs up in my book. Would def like to see some hybrids of this species.
