Red sphagnum moss

I neglected some red sphagnum moss since they arrived around March this year. They were in bright shade the whole time, lost most of the red and became etiolated. :blush:

So it's time for a hair cut to prepare for Christmas!

The good thing is, from two containers of sphagnum grass...I have now 6 containers of cuttings! Hope they grow well and get back into the short and squat puffy red heads!!! :banana2:

Very nice! I deffinately want to get my hands on some one of these days.
 
Some species seem to do this in less than full sun, others maintain the red coloration no matter what. Not something I fully understand yet.
