Reaction time

My dews are really slow when they eat an insect. They have been transplanted about 2 weeks ago. Do they just need to adjust?

What do you mean by slow? The leaves move slowly over the prey, or they digest slowly? Can you give us a little more info to chew on?

response over time. Tentacle action is quicker in conditions of good light. Try D. burmannii, the outer tentacles are visably reponsive in this species.

I mean moving over the prey. I know dews are not the fastest cps, but my capensis is taking more than a day to fold over prey.

I wouldn't worry too much 'dewd, some of mine take all day to fold also.

Definately check out the Burmanii. They look like a kid with a fist full of candy when they have lunch!
