Pitchers That Change Color Over Time

DrWurm

Californian in DC
So, I figured this would be a cool thread showcasing the sarracenia species and hybrids that change their color significantly over the course of time.

Here's S. "Judith Hindle". The pitcher on the left is old, the one on the right is new.

Here's S. readii x "Royal Ruby" (aka S. readii x moorei "Big Red") when it first opened.

Now the same pitcher 2 months later:

The lids of S. flava var. cuprea have a very similar color changing pattern, though as time goes on the copper color on the lid faints rather than amplify.

I like the purp's example the best, all green with light red veins to deep maroon.
