1. Only ONE (1) PITCHER per member may be entered in any particular month.
2. All pictures must be taken in the month of entry into the contest.
3. All entries must be clearly identified.
4. Entries are restricted to cultivated plants.
5. Contestants may post as many times and as many pictures of their entry as they like until contest closing at the end of the month 11/30/19.
6. Sequential pictures showing opening of a pitcher are fine as long as all pictures are taken within the month of the contest.
7. If, for some reason, a single pitcher cannot be isolated and a group shot is necessary, then the particular pitcher entered must be clearly identified in your post.
8. Plant must have been grown by owner at least six months prior to photo.
9. Times of Contest and Poll openings and closings are to be understood as EST.
10. Judging by forum members and guests in a poll opening on 12/01/19, closing 12/05/19 and using this forum! Voting will open on top of the thread at the close of the contest submissions.

** Please remember to clearly identify your entry!!**

Contest will be closed on November 30th 2019 at 5:00PM EST.

Good luck!!

Unknown plant, received labeled as "N. "Black Knight" EP" but that doesn't look right.
I love how big the mouth is on this, and the pitchers last well for me too.

I was pretty sure "Black Knight" was an EP ramispina x ventricosa cross...who took the name for that plant, and what's the cross?

Hmmm, I think you're right. Someone forwarded their Nep collection to me a while back saying they couldn't give them the attention they needed. They did note "Two varieties of N. "Black Knight." They do not look exactly the same. Came from Lois Ochs in a NASC auction several years ago" but I never even took a moment to really look at them in a comparison manner once they started growing well. I just had a look and the pitchers are definitely different (although smaller ones kinda look similar) also the other "Black Night" plants have red leaves while this one does not. Maybe I'll try to get a hold of Lois and see if she recognizes it as something else she has.
Thanks!
