It seems red is the color of the month, so I will maintain the theme! N. lowii X talangensis:

Amazing color and shape paul, have you made this cross yourself?

François,
I believe this is an Exotica Plants hybrid. I acquired it from Tony Paroubek about a year and a half ago. So -- no -- I cannot take credit for this hybrid :-D

Stellar plant, gloriously photographed. That isn't the BE macrophylla, is it?

Thanks Paul,
ummmm, I didn't use my cell phone that time.... ;-)

Honestly, It was a gift so I really don't know the pedigree.... I thought it was seed grown, but was told later that it wasn't.
So ummmm, dunno

Its more likely to be wistuba clone then, this one doesnt look like the BE clone at all to me.

I have long meant to try some Nep nectar but I spray too regularly.... plus, they're on a steady diet of greenhouse cockroaches and that just doesn't sound appetizing. :ohno:

I've got a few plants that seem to have an almost citrus-tangy type flavor to them, a lot of the Philippine species or hybrids with parents from there....
