Ping ID please

Well, I've managed to acquire two pretty pings labeled as p.cordatta 'Longwood'. I'm thinking it's actually a p.caudata, perhaps some type of hybrid from Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania. They're in 2-inch pots in the pic. CP2K, remember this lady? Anyhow, if anyone could identify it I'd much appreciate it. Purple flower.

P. caudata is what moranensis USED to be known as... but now its a variation of moranensis, i believe...

Thanks for the info. P.maran. var. caudata was my rookie guess, but that doesn't go very far since I've only had pings since saturday!

It is moranensis var. caudata 'Longwood'(the correct spelling).
