these pings were being burnt under a magnetic ballast T12 that I found on the curb, besides the heat, I read that they use 25% more energy than electronic!

thanks,

Woah! Ping king!

wow! Lots of plants! Very nice ones too! Nice set ups, and plants, thanks for sharing.

Very nice collection. :) I would say the night temperature doesn't need to so low, as long as there's a good difference between day and night temperatures. So in the 50's will do good enough.

Great stuff! What is the forked sundew? My dichomata giant might look like that if it were healthy...

woooooooooooow Yours dews look absolutely incredible. seems like the midwest us has an awesome summer climate for growing dews outdoors. Unfortunately I wasn't able to put mine out this year because of classes :(.
love the pings too, and it looks like you have a nice collection of seedlings coming along! what spcs do you have going?

thanks for the comments everyone!
cpconnection: actually not sure. I got it from Fryster and he didn't remember. It make multiforks though- any ideas on what it could be?

cplantaholic: yes, the weather is great for it! the seedlings are aliciae, spathulata, and venusta I am growing these to sell at orchid shows, but I actually wish I was growing out more variety/something more meaningful - anyone have some graomogolensis seeds? haha
same thing with my nep seedlings. I have a ton of mirablis, but I would gladly make room for a hybrid or something with a little more potential.... oh well, someday.

wolfn- that is esseriana. it changes shape and color alot. last year teh leaves were more circular, and in the winter they turn pink and white.

thanks everyone!

regardless, the seedlings are doing great. It's always nice to get extra practice at least. Took me til now realize the reason that half my seedlings always croaked on me was because i didn't compact the media at all :censor:

I have a spare D. montana var tomentosa (or D. tomentosa) but it is soooo tiny right now. I'd love to help you out, but it will have to wait until at least after spring. but something to look foward to i guess.

Great collection Sir Alec!

But we're gonna have to set you up with a better camera.

The pings I traded to you look like they're doin' fantastic. :) The forked-leaf too.

I like the pygmy dews, they're nice and organized. Did you hand-place the gemmae?

Thanks for the comments!
I did hand place them, just like leaf pullings haha.
