obtained as Heliamphora minor, but maybe something else?

im suspecting that my Heliamphora minor might not be minor but rather H. minor x heterodoxa or reverse cross...based on the nectar spoons....

compare it to these images off cpphotofinder:

still...it's quite a nice plant...

I don't know how good an indicator nectar spoon shape is of species. In his talk McPherson notes some species have "unique" nectar spoon shapes while some species the spoons can be quite variable.

some have a kidney shaped spoon too.... don't know of any in domestic circulation though

(more prevalent then that McPherson pic)

but the neck seems more heterodoxa

Minor: Strongly helmet-shaped,
extremely constricted to stalked at the base

Heterodoxa: Flattened to helmet-shaped;
only slightly constricted around the base

@kula: out of ICU or not, your minor "red" does exhibit the nectar spoons that H. minor is supposed to have....

i guess that settles it....i got a hybrid.

i suppose that gives me reason to go ahead with the wistuba order....
