I am considering starting a bog garden or two - with plenty of pitchers and cobra lillies and anything else I (or you) can think of.

I live in Mass. - northeast corner - Zone 5

I am looking for varities that will survive the new england winter outside.

Quentions I have for you would include :

Should I build (dig and bury the large planter) now and plant - letting them winter here

or

should I do all of that in the spring

thanks for your help

Jeff

Do a Google on Wildbill, from our forum. He is from CT and his plants are kept outside all year long, with much mulching. He posted a thread about it a few years ago, but if you contact him and the NECPS, you can get what ya need.

Welcome to TF jeff. I wish I had some advice for you, but I mainly grow Neps. Good luck with your bog garden though =).
