How so? He's supplying plants that people are willing to pay for. I suspect that he would share the size if someone asked. If he said he was selling 3" plants and then sent 1/2" - then you're getting ripped off.

They also have a mini villosa:D.

Well, at least the plants are in good health? Right?

He is definently not ripping people off. I purchased several plants from him and even though there small with correct conditions they grow pretty quick! Also, they don't cost $100

Agreed. We all know we aren't getting specimen size plants. Let's just stay on topic here. Just was supposed to be a funny way to share our newest tiny plants.

With the Dollar conversion to Euros, my macro cost me just around $100. 50 Euros plus 25 Euros shipping. Currently comes out to be $93.75

Also, he ships multiples of plants or plants with basals too. Once I got a random extra hamata in my order that I think even had a basal or two on it.

I'm 100% happy with my plant. Lil villosa is better than no villosa:).

Don't worry, they are robust clones, here is mine before it caught mites . . . It really grew well:

In Wistuba's defense -- and before we feed him, piece-meal to our plants -- it should also be noted that many, if not the majority, of the most desired species of Nepenthes are highland or ultra-highland in origin; are all relatively slow-growing, whether germinated from seed or tissue culture; and that that "microphylla" example at the beginning of this thread, may well represent ten months or more of in vitro growth and re-culturing before it had been planted into compost . . .

I will say that I don't think he is ripping anyone off because we all now how tiny the plants should be expected to be, and we all pay for them anyway!

However, I will not be doing so anymore because I am removing myself from that group of people because I do not like receiving plants that size, or plants with weird TC basals/split growth points.

To each their own, but too small for me!

It seems pretty hard to TC these lil' guys especially at this age and for their rarity. . . it will take a while for some big growth to come out of these lil' plants.

Congrats on the new plant. I'd love to have one of these one day.
