Need help w/ identification

Hey guys,

I've got an internship at the local university, and I've been assigned to identify a greenhouse full of plants. Despite being botanists, they don't have a clue as to the identification of most of the plants; most of the labels are so old that they have faded.

So, I've managed to get most of them (roughly 30 or so species of various cacti, succulents and an assortment of tropicals/subtropicals). I'm asking you guys to help me to identify a few plants that I'm not incredibly familiar with.

First up, some orchids:

(Cattleya sp.)

Cacti:

(H. attenuata)---> originally labelled as H. margaritifera

Aloe of some sort; could it be A. vera? I'm not too convinced.

Some species of Opuntia.

Some sort of jungle cacti? Or Stapeliad?

Some species of Aloe, once again. Could it be A. glauca?

Orbea??

Thanks a ton for your help, guys.

Oh, I don't know, then. I'm sorry.

That's ok; I think I'll just leave it as H. attenuata, since I've really done some searching online, and H. margaritifera is considered "the largest of all Haworthia", and this clearly is not very large.

Thanks,
-Ben

The first one is from the Cattleya alliance, however I am not sure what hybrid or species. Cattleya alliance covers several hybrids and genera. May be difficult to get an exact id without a genetic makeup. Good luck.

Yeah, I figured. I'll just label it as "Cattleya sp."

Thanks,
-Ben
