thanks PK I f rephrased that, yeah it is a great plant.
it is use to full sun and is acclimayted to lower humidity would it be fine in my room its like
60F during the day and 50F at night. I can provide full sun but I was just worried it might be too cold.

looks like the "North Sumatra" form, a beaut! But if it starts vining at that diameter I'm in trouble with mine...

Lol I'd call that more like..."second stage". It's not a seedling anymore, but I like to refer to plants as "vining" when they have at least 3" between the internodes.

Well...thats just my personal opinon..not a real "definiton" or anything. I cut my plants before they REALLY start to go off. I cut usually at 6" or so between nodes

Matt.... Can't you read the rules?

Very nice plant, Robitussin. I look forward to seeing uppers!

yes I look forward to them also.
I am going to take a cutting of it and trade for a nepenthes albomarginata.
is this a good trade.???

Any trade is a good trade if you are happy with the plant you receive. If I were you though, I would keep the growth tip off the main stem (and root it), and send out a cutting just below that. Unless of course you're being traded a growth tip...

Basically I was suggesting that you take two cuttings off of your current plant. The growth tip - which you should keep. And then another cutting below that - which you should trade. If the person is giving you a growth tip though, then you should trade your growth tip (tip for tip). The only reason being, is that the growth tips grow out nicely without a bunch of activated nodes shooting out the sides.
