Great site Scot, awsome to see all the pictures of CP's that grow around here. I wonder were P.vulgaris could be found....Well thanks for sharin.

Yeah, excellent story. I especially liked the link to the youtube video of that building imploding. What a fun job that would be.

Nice page. Read it all and even learned a bit. I live in Boston MA and saw that sundews grow around here. Guess I'll have to look for some lol

Hey man! great site! just one question...what was the fencing for in the 2007 year? here... : http://gold.mylargescale.com/scottychaos/CP/page4.html It looks nice just curious is all... I assume tohold up the sars?

Fencing?
sorry..dont know what you mean.
the deck has a railing, and there is a chain link fence in the background..
but its pretty obvious what they! ;)
other than that, im lost. ???

can you post a link to the specific photo?

thanks,
Scot

oh! it just came to me..
you mean the green chicken wire in the pots!
I explained what its for in the page! right next to the photos! ;)

I had some trouble with birds again, so I hung up the CDs again..
it worked ok, but there was one particulary tenacious mother robin building a new nest,
she kept robbing bits of the moss every day, tearing out plants in the process,
and the CDs didnt work on her! so I had to also add some green chicken wire over the pots! I didnt care for the look, but by summer the plants had grown right through the wire and you hardly noticed it.

No, it does nothing to hold up the plants..and the sarrs dont really need holding up anyway..
(except for a few really tall ones every year that get blown over by wind)
its only to keep birds from digging in, and stealing the moss.
