my first U. Calycifidia bloom

I came home today and this little flower had fallen off. no trauma to the plant, not even wilting of the petals just simply dropped off and sitting at the base of the stalk. that normal?

Fantastic! Mine just had it's first bloom too. It hasn't fallen off yet.

Mine does that as well. The plants and stalks look robust, so I'd say that it is normal.

Ok, my flower just wizened up an fell off yesterday.

We all hate to see them go, but the plant will produce more flowers from the same scape. Seems like this species doesn't hold it's flowers as long as others. I've had some species keep their flowers for months!
