Here's mine with a ventricosa x lowii for comparison:
It grows well as a highlander, but slows down in the winter here in southern california.

Makes you kinda wonder why this hybrid so darn expensive and hard to find.

People who grow it love to take it's picture and show it off.

Truncata hybrids tend not to throw basals and don't vine as readily, so there isn't much to propagate.

ive seen some large truncata plants in person....several feet across.....near as i can remember they werent all that tall.....a foot or maybe two..........very short internodal length........
