i live in oxnard, california. ive been looking for sundews for a while in my area.

There are a number of board members in your area. Try the trading post. Trades are not restricted to CPs.

A couple weeks ago the 99 cent stores had Drosera capensis (nearly dead).

Or make your way down to the LACPS meeting on the 19th. There are usually plenty of CPs of most of the genera to be found.
