Live sphagnum 24 hr lighting?

hello all, Im starting to grow some live sphagnum in my indoor grow shelf. I leave the lights on 24 hrs a day since im growing some sarracenia from seed. Will this affect the live sphagnum? or do they require a normal grow period?

I'm sure the sphagnum will be fine for a while but depending on origin of the live sphagnum temperate forest )USA) or tropical. It may need seasonal variation for long term health, meaning the light hours and temperature must drop to remain healthy for more than six months or so.
