is Timberline ceder or hemlock ok?

I saw mulch bags of Timberline brand ceder and hemlock mulches at lowes.
has anyone used either of these in there nep mixes? Is the mulch pure or a mix. I really need to find a cheaper alternative to the pet bedding and orchid pine bark nuggets I have been using.

I use Cypress Bark Mulch and top dress it with LFS for most nepenthes. I buy it at an Agway store in Salem, NH in huge bags for a low cost.
