Interlopers need id before weeding

Hi all. Just curious if these two "weeds" can be identified by their leaves alone. or are they truly just weeds.

Left is a fern and the right is a dandelion. Pull one or both, depending if you like ferns.

hummm, I may grow the fern out a little and see what it looks like. Thought dandy's had spiked leaves, at least all mine do, and grow as a rosette.
