In light of the latest issue of the CPN

Here's what I discovered today. My VFT 'Dutch' with a baby Cuban anole.

i just found a frog sticking out of my vft. it was quickly devoured by ants.... poor lil thing! stuck by its head and dried in the sun

was it alive? but thats so weird, how it was just published and that just happened?

You need to send that one to the ICPS newsletter.

Was the fly still alive? It doesn't appear that any of the body parts are actually in "digestive" cavity so the trap may open in the "nothing to digest" mode and release the fly

Mine was not alive when I found it. Not sure about Jeremy's. It is coincidental that it happened around the same time as the CPN photo. But anoles and geckos frequently fall prey to my plants.

Great shot Larry! Poor flytrap was getting only a taste.

The night lizard from the old pic I posted had already been sealed in the trap and wasn't moving. Here's another old pic, bet you didn't know fly traps chewed their food:

And finally, one from the other day. Its not a fly trap, but it did eat an anole:

Poor little guy never had a chance.

Here's my humorous VFT attack.
