How to Make a Bog Garden

I just got a TON of plants and I need to know how to make a bog garden.

My idea was to dig a hole, put trash-bags as the lining, put in the soil, and put in the plants.

Please anyone tell me if my idea should be.......adjusted.

Well it usually works best to:

1) Make your bog garden
2) Get the plants

But since it's too late, how bout some more info? We really have no idea what you're planting, where you live and what your conditions... If you're in the Northern Hemisphere you've picked a bad time to start making a bog garden...

check craigslist...i found very thick pond liner material dirt cheap, there are also often feed troughs and fish pond containers for a fraction of their new cost.
