Hello,

I'm going to be giving out gmail invites over the next few days. I'll try to offer a few at a time so everyone has a chance to get one (if anyone is interested). If you don't what gmail is, here is more info:

I dont get it..
I know this about a new email service from google,
but what are the invitations about?
why do we need to be invited?
and why do people want or need to invite other people?
and why can one link be only used by one person?

Hello,

You have to be invited because the e-mail service is still in it's testing phase. You are given invites in your account after using it for a while (or whenever Google decides to give out more). I'm giving out mine because my friends already have accounts.

Gmail is cool! I like that they give you a gig of storage. But even more, I like the searchable archive feature, and the storing of back and forth email conversations in threads, instead of scattered all about the inbox.
