I sooooooo related to where Seymore went and found his plant all wilted after doing so well. Tell me the writer wasn't a CP'er! Both versions are very much worth seeing, the B&W movie and the musical. The B&W movie was a very early Jack Nicholson movie. The scene of the sadistic dentist (Steve Martin) and the masochistic patient (Bill Murray) in the musical is an unforgetable MUST SEE!

Tamlin, we are still waiting for your photo of the 2.5-inch traps. The largest trap for which I have seen a photo posted is about 1.75 inches (or so). I guess one could say that 1.75 inches is "pushing" 2.5 inches.
