A most unusual pair of clones this is; bicolor petals, but with the color fading in an almost mottled, stained look that has never stuck around in any other plant I've seen so far, and veins from emarginata only just barely sticking in the background color

This second one especially, is far paler than I expected from either parent

Also getting cyclosecta blooming again! This flower failed after pollination was attempted (though the pollen from it did make 2 successful crosses with other plants), but a 2nd bloom is looking more promising now

Turns out cyclosecta doesn't like setting seeds though...crosses with it as the pollen parent are fine, but all its stalks just wilt after the flower falls.

Got a moctezumae flower! It's not perfect, but hey...and, crossed it both ways with emarginata, and it lasted long enough that I was able to put pollen on cyclosecta (we'll see if this stalk holds on or not...) and "ANPA A." Can't wait to see the results...

And these arrived as bulbs (as did more recently heterophylla and medusina). Hopefully they make it through to waking up, a few of the outer leaves on one turned black for no obvious reason.

And it is so PINK! And I have attempted crossing it with laueana, and used pollen on moctezumae and emarginata

So none of the P. crassifolia crosses seem to have taken...will have to hope for another shot next year. I have a ton of other crosses sprouting already though and barely have any room for them, so...
Also, pretty sure I'm going to have to register one of the plants in the photo below as a cultivar, as it looks completely unlike any of its siblings or the reverse cross. Guess which one?

A new bulb has already formed so I don't think any flowers will be on the way, sadly, but macrophylla lived up to its name

Perlite, blasting abrasive, bit of peat; same as the rest, nothing special. Just watching water levels differently on each (but the macro has been wet for a while and doesn't seem to care).
 
Repotting these guys, might finally soon have enough to ret rid of some...

And finally selecting out indiivduals of some of my seed-grown crosses to establish as my "keeper" clones...surely obvious why this one was picked, and I really hope it stays stable like this:

And, butterworts turn red in UV, and it seems gigantea hybrids in particular get very red
