what clone of agnata have you use ?

If I understand correctly, the issue here is simply that while ‘Aphrodite’ is agnata x moctezumae, agnata x moctezumae is not necessarily ‘Aphrodite,” and he’s comparing the actual named plant with other examples of the same hybrid.

That would definitely be interesting to know, but without knowing which form of agnata was the seed parent of ‘Aphrodite,’ it’s hard to know exactly what you are comparing. Though the reddish color of ‘Aphrodite’s’ leaves would hint at agnata ‘Red Leaf’ or possibly ‘El Lobo’, but who knows what the person who made the original cross had available? Unfortunately the ICPS description doesn’t tell us. (The photo with that description shows a green plant but mine, under LED and in cool temperatures has a lot of red in the leaves, see photo attached.)

Looks like you are having a lot of fun with your new hybrids! I'm partial to the P. moranensis 'Huahuapan' x emarginata Clones C & B.

Also - nice blush on the rotundiflora x hemiepiphytica. I'm looking forward to my first rotundiflora flower on my own plant - and that flower bud is taking it's sweet time.

I have a new to me P. laueana x emarginata from [MENTION=12492]madrone[/MENTION] in flower and it's this whiteish yellow color. Don't think I've ever had one like that. I've not had it for too long so maybe it's just being silly.
