Flower!

My Ping i put in my bog, not so long ago.
One day it got covered with soil, i rinsed some off ergo,
I didn't know if it was alive,
so when i saw a flower,
in my pants you would have thought there was a beehive!
Having a little fun with rhyming.
Anyways, it's one from lowes, can someone list the species sold at lowes? It has a purple flower.

All I've ever seen in the Lowes stores have been P. primuliflora. Never saw a Mexican ping. Isit light purple or fuschia?

Without a picture I would say P. primuliflora, for the exact reason jimscott states (especially the light purple flower).
