I'm working on a way to fake time lapse , with the camera i have , trying to find program that will make a descent slide show, if the shots are all as close to the same as possible maybe it will mimic time lapse???.:0o:
This program doesnt allow to change the effect, need still images. for what im trying to do

Cool! Very nice orchid. However, to get the full effect of time lapse you need to take a lot of pictures, a lot. Some people may take 2 per day for a month, maybe one, or maybe more.

Why are you doing the "zoom in" effect on all the pics?
kinda kills the "time lapse" look IMO..

basically you have to mount the camera on a tripod, make sure it stays VERY still,
maybe even tie down the plant a bit (or the flower stalk, or whatever the subject is)
then take a few photos every day for the duration of the event you are recording.

if its just a flower opening, it can be over in a few hours..
if its a seed sprouting, maybe a week..
some people do an entire year..it depends!

hand-held will never work, and you need to lose the zooming-in thing..

Thanks for the help and advise , all will be used in the final slide show/ time lapse:-D
This is just my first attempt and these are the only shots i have in any sequence , so ive started here for now, ill do what you suggest though, at least 30 to 40 shots in the coming week maybe more if i can.

hers is another version , not as well done but i did find in the menus, the place to change the zoom feature , to off, and a few other settings, so this program is all i will need to do a pretty cool slide show,
cant wait to get started.
this one is a liitle out of sync but you can see how this would better fit a time lapse/slide show if all the pics are taken in the exact same position.

Hmmm... it may be time consuming but I'd recommend using GiMP (basically an open source Photoshop) and use it to string together all of your images into a .gif animation. Only problem is that it can be kind of confusing if you've never used something like Photoshop... but at lest GiMP is free :D
