I suspect that it's growing in a greenhouse. Cephalotus take on lovely colouration in the winter months if kept in a cool greenhouse.

I'm blown away by the color of this thing. Mind if I ask it's origin? I know I won't be able to get my paws on one from this side of the pond.. just wondering.

Not sure its orgin, got it on ebay sometime ago
Its grown indoor with grow-light to keep the light level high!

I got another smaller plant that shown similar colouration,
but this 1 has always been red even with low light level.
