Just got back from a weeklong trip and had a family friend water my collection of bonsai, regular houseplants, and sarracenia, drosera, and VFTs. I told him to use the water in the barrel for the CPs and the tap for everything else but (stupidly) didn’t specify that regular water could kill the CPs. I think he used the RO water to water everything because he somehow went through the entire 3/4 filled 50 gallon barrel and then used water from the tap when he ran out of filtered water. Did a TDS check and 2 of the trays were at 180+. The VFTs have lots of black traps, drosera are not looking good, and some of the sarrs are crisping up. I’m not sure if it’s partially due to them starting dormancy because I know 180 isn’t terribly awful for sarrs at least. Would a deep flush be enough or should I repot entirely? It’s not a small collection. Not a greenhouse by any means but not small either.
