Drosera rotundifolia at Goat Marsh Lake, WA (Cowlitz Co.)

Went out with ScatterPants this past weekend to look for reported Drosera rotundifolia and Drosera anglica, as well as native Sphagnum species.

We were unsuccesful in finding D. anglica, but found a bit of D. rotundifolia and plenty of Sphagnum squarrosum.

Those eggs aren't "larvae" until they hatch. It's pretty cool that you have sphagnum growing where you are. Are you allowed to harvest it?

Just embryos then? Not sure the terminology, but wanted to point out the little guys still in the eggs

This population is on federal land and at a research area so I'd imagine it's frowned upon.
