Drosera ericgreenii in South Africa

Hello,

this nice species is only know from one location in the surrounding of Franschhoek. It is only recently described and closely related to D. hilaris.

Hi Tamlin,

the closest relative to this plant is Drosera hilaris from which it differs in having stipules as well as the hairy curved flower scape. It's been described only two years ago by Andreas Fleischmann, Robert Gibson and Fernando Rivadavia from the region of Franschhoek. So far it is only known from the Type location.
