I've been trying to figure out the past two months what has been chewing on my sarracenia with several flower buds disappearing, a couple immature pitcher lids being chopped off, and scarring along pitchers causing deformation. Today I finally discovered at least one culprit: I pulled a cutworm out of one of the flower buds it had burrowed into. Does anyone have any recommendations for controlling cutworms? Would a bacterial insecticide like BT work?
