Since I actually have a couple flytraps outside now...probably should use this thread again.

Everything wants to flower outside...I just want to see nice traps at this point

Luckily it's just the bloom-happy typicals still going now, and they have a lot of traps forming.

And I've gone and expanded the flytrap ring; they don't look this good now, takes a while for things to acclimate to the northern Colorado outdoors, but:

For once, propagation has been a successful endeavor....

Look good! About when did you do them and what method did you use? I have pretty good luck with leaf pulls but it takes a while to get a decent plant size for me.

I don't really actively propagate Dionaea usually, but the typical clone I have flowers without producing seeds on a constant rate, so I cut most of its stalks several months ago and threw them in the moss tray I propagate most Nepenthes in. Removed the plantlets developing about 2 months ago, stuck them in the pot to keep growing on (stalks seem to have stopped producing new ones on the calluses afterward).
