Cheesy riddle

Riddle me this, riddle me that,
Why are Cape Sundews much like a cat?

One takes a C-nap and the other is a D. Cap.

What do Nepenthes and good mechanics have in common?

One uses a 'Monkey' cup and the other is a grease 'Monkey' that uses a 'Monkey' wrench, to earn their keep.

Why are a pygmy sundew and a mattress alike?

Both can take a real pounding, but are able to spring right back for more...

dvg;)

I know it's been solved, but I have a good answer: "Why is a cat like a D. capensis"? They both drool with anticipation (and satisfaction)!

"Why is a mechanic like a Nepenthes?" If that mechanic isn't careful, he'll swallow a fly, too!

Hint for the mattress vs. pygmies: gemmae.

Am I allowed to guess twice?
I'll put it really small at the bottom just in case I'm not.

Both are spring-loaded

And hint on the mechanic one: The answer is not very clever, just a play on syllables. Think of all the things Nepenthes have -- leaves, pitchers, peristome, lid, etc.
