Mounts Botanical is having a CP discussion and a bad movie.

July 21 explores the world of carnivorous plants and features the 1964 film Day of the Triffids. The garden is at 531 N. Military Road, West Palm Beach. Cost is $5 per film, free to children 10 and younger and members. Call 561-233-1747.

This is the 2nd time mounts botanical has come up in conversation... hmmm i'm going to have to check it out.

Another cp grower in WPB. Yeah!  Mounts doesn't have CPs as part of it's standard display but this cp lecture is a good sign. I go there for my beekeeper meetings and to just walk around it is a nice garden.

Don't get all excited i failed dismally on my first CP try...

and then i found some native ones that were doomed for destruction so i repotted a few and took them home. they got eaten by my goats....argh..

grin... so i am just a newbie...not progressing much...
